Unitree B2
The Unitree B2 is an industrial quadruped robot designed to operate in demanding environments. It reaches speeds of up to 6 m/s and weighs approximately 60 kg, including the battery. With a payload capacity of up to 120 kg while stationary and more than 40 kg while walking, it is suited to logistics, inspection, patrol and rescue tasks. Its combination of dynamic movement, endurance and robust construction supports industrial applications where performance and reliability are essential.
High movement speed
The B2 reaches speeds of up to 6 m/s, enabling it to move quickly between work areas, respond to changing conditions and cover large sites efficiently. Its design maintains stability during dynamic manoeuvres, supporting safe operation in industrial and off-road environments.
Powerful joint modules and precise movement
M107 joint modules deliver approximately 360 N·m of torque for smooth, dynamic movement. Their power reserve supports stability, precise motion control and operation with heavy loads. The robot can maintain its balance on challenging terrain and perform dynamic manoeuvres in demanding conditions.
Adaptation to varied terrain
The B2 is designed for variable and demanding terrain, including slippery or uneven surfaces, wet floors, stones, debris and steep slopes. It can handle inclines of up to 45° and stairs with step heights of 20–25 cm, allowing it to work in locations that can challenge conventional mobile robots.
Obstacle clearance and jumps
The robot can climb over obstacles up to 40 cm high and move across platforms, timber piles and infrastructure elements. It can jump up to 1.6 m, cross gaps of 0.5–1.2 m and jump down from heights of up to 1 m. These capabilities extend its use in challenging terrain and rescue operations.
Payload and operating time
In a stationary position, the B2 can support a load of up to 120 kg; while walking, it can carry more than 40 kg. With a 20 kg payload, continuous walking time is over 4 hours, with a range of up to 15 km. Without an additional load, it can operate for over 5 hours and travel up to 20 km.
Perception and navigation
A 32-beam automotive-grade LiDAR, depth-perception cameras and optical cameras support environmental recognition and navigation in complex surroundings. The sensor system is designed to assist with stable navigation, inspection, mapping and operation in areas with limited visibility or difficult terrain.
Battery and charging
The 58 V, 45 Ah battery has a stated energy capacity of 2,250 Wh and supports approximately 4–6 hours of operation. Optional autonomous charging systems can recharge the robot between missions. The plug-in battery design allows for quick replacement to reduce downtime.
Protection for demanding environments
The robot has an IP67 protection rating against dust and water and is specified for operating temperatures from −20°C to 55°C. These characteristics support use both inside industrial facilities and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
