ILFORD FILM ORTHO PLUS 120 is a 120 medium format orthochromatic black and white film with ISO 80 sensitivity, designed for high-resolution photography with fine grain and sharpness. It is ideal for capturing stunning landscapes and detailed negatives.

Technical Details

ORTHO PLUS is an orthochromatic film sensitive to blue and green light but not to red light, allowing it to be handled safely in deep red safelight without fogging. This characteristic also causes reds and oranges in the scene to appear darker with stronger contrast compared to standard panchromatic films.

The film is DX coded for ISO 80 in daylight conditions. For tungsten lighting, a manual ISO setting of 40 is recommended or a 1-stop exposure correction can be applied. The film can be processed using standard black and white development processes, with development times available in the technical data sheet or on the film packaging.

Usage Notes

• Do not use amber safelight as it may cause fogging.
• Compatible with Ilford black and white developers.
