ILFORD MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is a premium quality black & white variable contrast paper on a bright white resin coated base. It delivers a full tonal range and exceptional image quality across a wide contrast range of grades 00 to 5.

ILFORD introduced the world’s first variable contrast MULTIGRADE paper in 1940 and has continuously evolved the range to become the preferred black & white paper for discerning darkroom printers worldwide.

This paper maintains the long-standing tradition of MULTIGRADE quality, providing enhanced response where needed to reveal subtle highlight details while rendering shadows in deep, rich blacks, all accentuated by the bright white base.

It is ideal for beginners printing directly from negatives as well as advanced users seeking full creative control. MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is also available in Cooltone and Warmtone variants.

As part of the ILFORD MULTIGRADE system, seven full grades of contrast can be achieved when used with ILFORD MULTIGRADE filters. It is compatible with most common safelights for black & white darkroom paper, such as the ILFORD 902 safelight filter.
