The camRade rainCover Medium is designed to protect your digital cinema camera from inclement weather, preventing water damage to your valuable equipment. This rain cover allows you to safeguard your camera from the elements without compromising your shot quality.
Versatile Application
Developed through extensive collaboration with camera operators, the rainCover Medium is suitable for handheld use as well as when the camera is mounted on tripods, sliders, track systems, JIBs, or other support solutions.
Durable and Functional Design
- Comes with a waterproof zippered pouch for storage and transport.
- Easy to attach and detach with a convenient design.
- Bottom can be left open for easy access or closed with double straps to secure against wind.
- Blue sliding rail allows adjustment of buckles when mounted on a tripod.
Lens Hood Clamp and Extensions
- Features a 30 cm (11.8") rubber strip to fit most lenses securely.
- Includes a hook-and-loop strap to tighten the cover on the lens while allowing full lens operation due to its spacious design.
- Supplied with a zippered lensC L extension to cover and protect longer lenses.
- Optional camRade rainCover Extension Kit (SKU: CAM-RAINCVR-KIT) available for protecting handgrip units, 5" and 7" monitors/recorders, and longer lenses.
Comprehensive Protection Beyond Camera and Lens
- Includes two viewfinder covers: a simple cover for LCD screens and an advanced cover compatible with 99% of external viewfinders and loupes.
- Battery extension cover allows extending the camera up to 20 cm (7.9") at the back to protect larger batteries, transmitters, or other accessories from rain.
Easy Access to Controls and Accessories
- Transparent window on the left side (24 cm wide by 20 cm high) provides clear visibility of camera controls.
- Open bottom design ensures easy operation of controls.
- Hook-and-loop fastener above the window allows the viewfinder or LCD screen support arm to exit the main cover, enabling unrestricted use of the viewfinder.
- Vertical hook-and-loop fastener on top accommodates a top handle or other mounted accessories.
- Flap next to the top handle opening protects a standard on-camera shotgun microphone and includes a 12 cm wide hook-and-loop fastener for cable access or cold/hot shoe accessory mounts.
- Vertical zipper on the right side provides access to handgrip and input/output connectors.
- Round opening with drawstring at the back (above the battery) accommodates integrated viewfinders and allows use of the camera's eyecup or top handle for high-angle shots.
