The Tilta HDA-T08-MK-R2 Hydra Arm Mini Modification Kit enhances the standard Tilta Hydra Arm Mini for DJI Ronin 2 users, increasing the maximum payload from 17 lb to an impressive 28.7 lb (13 kg). It significantly reduces high-frequency road vibrations using a steel-wire shock absorber head, a heavy-duty spring, a dedicated Ronin 2 quick-release mount, and dual support cables, all within a 2-section arm configuration for optimal car-to-car and vehicle-mounted gimbal shots.
This kit replaces the stock polyurethane dampers with steel-wire shock absorbers that effectively mitigate harsh vibrations from rough roads and high-speed driving. The stiffer heavy-duty spring raises the safe working load to 28.7 lb, while the included quick-release Ronin 2 adapter plate allows for direct, tool-free gimbal mounting without additional dovetails. Two 2-meter stainless-steel support cables provide redundancy and enhance system stability. Note that this modification limits the arm to two sections only (no third extension) to ensure safety at the higher payload.
