Camera Cage
The Shape Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K 6K Shoulder Mount features a CNC machined aluminum cage designed to securely hold the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4K camera. The cage provides a formfitting base for attaching accessories, handles, or grips while maintaining full access to all camera controls, ports, and slots including the memory card, battery door, lens release button, and outputs. It includes a cold shoe mount on top for accessories such as microphones, magic arms, LEDs, or the top handle. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with ARRI anti-twist threads ensure strong and stable mounting of the camera and accessories. A left-side clamp prevents accidental HDMI cable disconnection, and a padded hand strap on the right side adds comfort when holding the camera.
Removable Top Handle
The removable top handle is crafted from CNC machined aluminum and genuine Canadian maple wood, providing a solid and comfortable grip. It features patented Push-Button technology for quick and easy 360-degree rotation adjustment, allowing filmmakers to position the handle optimally. The handle attaches securely to the cage via the cold shoe system and offers multiple mounting options including EVF mount, 1/4"-20 threaded holes with stoppers, and cold shoe brackets at both front and back for additional accessories.
Quick Release Baseplate and Adjustable Rod Bloc System
The quick release baseplate can function as a table stand or be mounted on a tripod. It includes a removable Metabones® support bracket at the bottom to support heavier lenses. The rod bloc's height is adjustable with an Allen key to optimize the positioning of matte boxes, follow focus systems, and optical centers. Rod clamps allow attachment of various rod-mounted accessories.
15 mm 18" Rods
The kit includes a pair of 15 mm diameter rods, each 18 inches (45.72 cm) long, made from hollow aluminum tubes with chamfered ends for easy insertion into rod clamps, even if slightly misaligned. These rods are compatible with studio and LWS 15 mm rod clamps, enabling the use of a wide range of accessories.
Quick Handle Rod Bloc
The quick handle rod bloc is a professional video stabilization accessory featuring two camera handle grips, each capable of 360-degree rotation. Handles attach to the camera platform with a screw knob and can be easily attached or removed via a push-button at the articulation point. The anodized aluminum rod bloc supports all 15 mm rods and allows precise positioning by sliding the handles along the rods and tightening a red knob. This system provides composite camera support and quick adjustment for ergonomic handling.
Composite Mini Shoulder Pad
The mini composite shoulder pad is padded for superior comfort and made from slip-resistant material. It includes a 15 mm rod block on top for mounting rods and accessories. A screw knob allows attachment of counterweights, which can also be mounted behind the rods using additional male-female rods. This design helps distribute the camera's weight across the body, reducing fatigue. The shoulder pad can remain on the rig permanently, facilitating rapid switching between shoulder and tripod setups.
Back Pad
The back pad consists of a powder-coated anodized aluminum plate and arm attached to thick padding for user comfort. It is compatible with the mini composite shoulder pad and can be easily attached or removed via a 1/4"-20 camera screw knob. The back pad's position is adjustable vertically up to 5 cm and can rotate 360 degrees horizontally. It also features two 1/4"-20 threaded holes at the bottom for mounting additional accessories or counterweights.
