It features a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the zoom range, paired with a rounded nine-blade diaphragm to produce smooth, shallow depth of field effects.
The lens incorporates a sophisticated optical formula with three extra-low dispersion (ED) elements, three aspherical elements, and one anomalous dispersion aspherical element. This combination effectively controls various aberrations and distortions, delivering sharp, well-corrected images with even illumination. Additionally, a proprietary HD multi-layer coating reduces flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast and color neutrality even in challenging lighting conditions.
