The NiSi Black Mist Filter 1/4 Strength 72mm softens images by reducing excessive sharpness and contrast, creating a soft, pastel-like quality of light with an atmospheric effect.
This filter features an extra layer of black specks that provide subtle diffusion while preserving image details better than traditional diffusion filters.
Key Specifications
- Softens light to produce a gentle, pastel-like glow
- Incorporates an additional layer of black specks for enhanced diffusion
- Minimizes detail loss across the image compared to conventional diffusion filters
- Durable brass frame for easy attachment and removal from lenses
- Available in multiple sizes: 49, 52, 67, 72, 77, 82, and 95 mm
- Offered in three diffusion strengths: 1/2 (strongest), 1/4 (medium), and 1/8 (subtle)
This 1/4 strength filter balances a noticeable softening effect with minimal detail loss, making it ideal for adding character and dimension to images.
