The Elinchrom Rotalux Softbox is designed exclusively for use with Elinchrom flash heads. It features a lightweight construction with a matte-black crinkle exterior and distinctive gray rip-piping, complemented by a reflective silver interior to maximize light efficiency.

Light Diffusion and Design

This softbox uses a shoot-through design with both a removable internal baffle and a removable, flush-mounted front face to soften the light output effectively.

Innovative Speed-Ring Assembly

The softbox includes a dedicated lightweight speed-ring that uses knurled, spring-action sockets to connect the four stainless steel rods forming the frame. This design allows easy assembly in a de-tensioned state. The user simply pivots the sockets 90 degrees to lock and tension the softbox for use.

Storage and Portability

Elinchrom provides a durable, dot-patterned nylon case with a flat bottom designed to hold the softbox assembled but de-tensioned, enabling quick setup and breakdown without disassembly.

Shape and Usage

The square 27 x 27" (69 x 69 cm) shape is ideal for head-and-shoulders portraiture, hair lighting for groups, or as a fill light for reflective products and glassware.
