Audio Quality and Operation
The F2's 32-bit float technology allows recording of the loudest audio signals without clipping and captures quiet sounds in fine detail, eliminating the need for gain setting. The HOLD switch locks controls during recording to prevent accidental stops. Screw-lock connectors ensure the lavalier microphone remains securely connected.
Bluetooth Control (F2-BT Model)
The F2-BT model includes Bluetooth 4.2, enabling wireless start/stop recording, battery level monitoring, output volume adjustment, and low-cut filter control via the free Zoom F2 Control app for iOS and Android. It also supports Bluetooth timecode synchronization.
F2 Editor Software
Available for PC and Mac, the F2 Editor software allows users to adjust device settings, format SD cards, and transfer files via USB connection.
