The Kowa TSN-PA7A adapter enables digiscoping by connecting your digital camera to compatible Kowa spotting scopes, allowing you to capture high-quality images through the scope's eyepiece. Designed for simplicity and affordability, this adapter offers a stable and quick solution for digiscoping enthusiasts.

Adapter Types: TSN-PA vs TSN-DA

The TSN-PA adapter fits over the eyepiece and attaches directly to the spotting scope body, providing a more stable connection. In contrast, the TSN-DA adapter mounts on the eyepiece itself and is suitable when connecting the camera to the eyepiece's filter thread. The TSN-DA adapters are available as optional accessories.

Compatibility

• The TSN-PA7A is compatible with Kowa TSN-99, TSN-88, TSN-880, and TSN-770 series spotting scopes when used with Kowa TE-11WZ or TE-80XW eyepieces.
• For other models such as TSN-601, TSN-66, TSN-82SV series with TE-Z9B or TE-14WD eyepieces, TSN-550 series, and Kowa High Lander with 21x, 32x, or 50x eyepieces, the TSN-PA8 adapter is recommended.
• The TSN-PA8 also supports many historical spotting scopes and eyepieces.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the eyepiece from the spotting scope and take off the protective ring on the scope body.
2. Screw the TSN-PA7A inner ring onto the scope body to establish a stable connection.
3. Attach the T2 adapter to the TSN-PA7A and then connect your camera body to the T2 adapter.
4. Slide the entire assembly over the eyepiece and inner ring, securing it with the thumbscrew.
5. Some cameras may require menu adjustments to recognize the lensless setup; refer to your camera manual for details.
