The TSN-EX16S has Kowa launched alongside the already existing extender the Kowa TSN-EX16. Why then put the S version on the market you might wonder? The TSN-EX16S is made to make older Kowa models suitable for the current eyepieces and digiscoping possibilities that Kowa has to offer.
;First, the TSN-EX16S extender increases the magnification of the eyepiece you use with factor 1.6, this is the same functionality as the regular TSN-EX16. However, next to it, the TSN-EX16S makes it possible to equip your old spotting scope with the current eyepieces and digiscopping possibilities that kowa has developed. For example, you can attach the eyepiece TE-Z9B to your TSN-601 and start spotting with the TSN-PA8 adapter.

Usage Extender TSN-EX16S
;The high-quality TSN-EX16S is easy to attach to your spotting scope by means of their screw thread. The extender makes your old spotting scope suitable for all eyepieces and digiscopping solutions of the current spotting scope models.
