The NiSi Nano IRND Filter is a neutral density (ND) filter designed to reduce exposure and darken the entire image. This allows photographers and videographers to use a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required, enabling better control over depth of field and motion portrayal.
Neutral density filters like this one are engineered to not affect the coloration of the image, making them ideal for use in combination with other filters.
Optimized Design for Digital Sensors
This filter is optimized for use with digital camera sensors, providing nearly flat attenuation across both visible and infrared light spectrums. To maintain color neutrality and eliminate color casts, each surface of the filter is coated with one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating. This coating also ensures cleaner, truer blacks, especially when using longer exposure times.
