The filter features a nano coating on both sides that is water and oil repellent, enhancing durability and ease of cleaning.

Infrared Protection

Neutral density filters typically do not affect image coloration; however, when using ND filters, cameras become vulnerable to infrared (IR) light, which can cause unwanted red color casts in photos, especially at small apertures. To address this, the NiSi Nano IRND filter incorporates an infrared protection coating layer that effectively blocks IR light passing through the lens, restoring natural colors in images.
