Material and Build

NiSi 150mm filter holders are crafted from high-quality aviation-grade aluminum, processed as a single element using CNC machining. The surface features a matte black frosted finish for durability and reduced reflections. All screw accessories are made of copper with black nickel plating, enhancing durability and minimizing stray light influence on imaging.

Compatibility and Design

This filter holder is specially designed for the Canon EF 14mm F/2.8L II USM lens but is also compatible with other wide-angle lenses. It supports 150mm square filters with a thickness of 2mm and allows the use of up to three filters simultaneously.

Filter System Advantages

Square and rectangular filter systems address limitations of round screw-on filters. One square or rectangular filter can be used across multiple lens sizes with appropriate adapter rings. Rectangular filters enable precise control over light balance in scenes, especially useful for landscapes with off-center horizons, by allowing the filter to be shifted vertically within the holder. Graduated filters with soft or hard transitions are available; soft edges suit wide-angle lenses, while hard edges are recommended for normal and longer focal lengths.
