The Wimberley AP 652 Lens Foot is a custom low-profile replacement foot designed specifically for the Nikon 600 f/4 AF S version I lens. It replaces the factory foot on the lens's rotation collar and functions as an Arca-Swiss style quick-release plate, eliminating the need for an additional bulky plate. This lens foot enhances handling on conventional tripod heads, such as ball heads, and simplifies packing.

By reducing the overall height of the lens, this replacement foot lowers the center of gravity, improving balance when used on gimbal heads like the Wimberley Head. It is especially useful and sometimes required for optimal performance when using the Sidekick or Sidemount Wimberley Head.
