Wireless and wired connectivity

The Redleaf RDE-505WR endoscope connects wirelessly to Android and iOS mobile devices using the free YCamera app, available from Google Play and the App Store. It transfers video in real time without additional cables. The endoscope can also be connected to a Windows PC or Mac using a wired connection.

Image quality and illumination

The camera records video and captures photos at a maximum resolution of 1600 × 1200 pixels. Eight adjustable LEDs around the lens provide illumination in dark spaces, helping reveal fine details even where ambient light is unavailable. LED brightness is adjusted using the dedicated control knob.

Attachments and rigid cable

The included attachments extend the endoscope’s practical uses. The magnet and hook can retrieve small objects from hard-to-reach places, while the mirror attachment lets the camera view and record from a different angle. The rigid 5 m cable can be shaped to suit the space in which the endoscope is being used.

Water and dust resistance

The device complies with IP68. The endoscope can be submerged in water when the included waterproof sealing cap is fitted. This can be useful when diagnosing leaks or blockages in hydraulic systems. The IP68 rating applies to the endoscope only.
