Device Compatibility

The Redleaf RDE-202US endoscope connects via USB and is compatible with devices that support this interface:

• Windows XP and later
• Android devices with OTG support
• macOS

Dedicated software is available for operating the camera on smartphones and tablets, including the CameraFi app for Android, and on Windows computers using ViewPlayCap.

Image Quality and LED Lighting

The camera captures photos and video at a maximum resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. Eight LEDs around the lens illuminate dark inspection areas, and their brightness can be adjusted using the physical control on the cable.

Included Attachments

The supplied attachments extend the endoscope’s practical uses:

• A magnet and hook, each mounted on a small wire, help retrieve small objects from hard-to-reach places.
• The mirror cap allows inspection and image capture at an angle.

Water and Dust Protection

The camera probe has an IP67 protection rating and can be submerged in water. This makes it suitable for inspecting areas such as leaking or blocked plumbing systems.
