Introducing the Hydra Motorized Slider, the newest addition to the Hydra Car Mounting family.
The system mounts to a vehicle via Tow Hook or Hitch Adapter and utilizes 50mm Speed Rail with suction cups to provide further support. The system can also be easily integrated to unique specialty vehicles like the Can-Am Maverick X3, etc.
The shock-absorbing arm and slider are meticulously crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and 304 stainless steel. Designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, the Hydra operates flawlessly in temperatures ranging from -22 to 176, ensuring resistance to wind, rain, and snow.
Equipped with a control handle and control terminal, the Hydra offers flexible remote operation capabilities. Whether wired or wireless, users can control the slider's movement from inside the vehicle with ease.
Through these control options, users can adjust speed, damping, set A/B points and program the slider to reach these points at specific time intervals without user input. Additionally, the system supports future firmware upgrades.
Despite its robust build, the Hydra is designed with portability in mind. The slider weighs 110.2 lbs, and conveniently fits into three relatively compact cases. This allows for easy storage and transportation in most trucks or SUVs, ensuring you're always prepared for the next shoot.
Powered by only four 14.8V V-Mount batteries, the Hydra Slider is incredibly efficient. With four 270Wh (18600mAh) batteries, users can enjoy a full day of shooting without swapping batteries. (under normal shooting conditions, battery life may vary)
This Slider can travel from its highest to lowest point in just 4 seconds. It descends at a rate of 1.4 feet per second, ensuring you capture dynamic shots effortlessly.
The shock absorbing arm can dampen vibration on multiple axes and supports up to 66 lbs. The shock absorbing head comes with a DJI Ronin 2 mounting plate which makes this a perfect fit for that gimbal.
When used with optional accessories, the system can be mounted on the roof of a vehicle without the shock absorbing arm for broadcast purposes such as marathons or cycling events.
NOTE: The Pro Kit does not include the accessories needed for this broadcast setup.
