Combining robust mechanical engineering with intuitive controls, the VZCINEMAPRO-K4 enables filmmakers to achieve precise, repeatable camera movements effortlessly. It supports cameras up to 16 kg (35 lbs) standard, 23 kg (50 lbs) with support bearings, and up to 39 kg (85 lbs) using an optional outrigger cradle with support bearings. The system features powerful, quiet drivetrains and full slip rings allowing continuous 360-degree rotation for pan, tilt, zoom, and focus axes.
Advanced Controller Features
The included Pro Jibstick controller offers long-throw joystick operation for pan and tilt with independent speed and smoothing adjustments. It supports on-the-fly custom motion limits to prevent collisions or preset camera positions. Lens control integrates analog and digital interfaces compatible with Fuji, Canon, and Preston lenses, and it works seamlessly with VariZoom TOC lens control systems. Additional features include motor direction switches, motor disable functions, a USB interface for firmware updates, and a PC-compatible GUI for configuring joystick deadband and lens parameters.
