The DJI Mic Mini 2S wireless microphone system features 32-bit float internal recording, ensuring secure audio capture without the need for constant level monitoring. It offers up to 28 hours of 24-bit internal storage, allowing creators to reliably record high-quality audio in a single take.

Windscreens for Outdoor Audio

Equipped with a windscreen, the transmitter effectively reduces wind and background noise, delivering clear and crisp sound even in challenging outdoor environments. This makes it ideal for live streaming, vlogging, and other outdoor audio applications.

DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection

The system supports native connection to multiple Osmo devices with up to two DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitters, providing 48 kHz/24-bit premium audio quality. Compatible devices include:

• Osmo Pocket 4: Captures subtle light nuances with 14 stops dynamic range, complemented by the Mic Mini 2S's 32-bit float audio recording.
• Osmo 360: Records high-frame-rate 4K/100 fps 360° video alongside authentic ambient sound captured by the Mic Mini 2S.
• Osmo Nano: Compact clip-on microphone ideal for wearable cameras and dynamic point-of-view shots.
• Osmo Action 6: Connects natively without a separate receiver; features two-stage AI noise cancellation for precise background noise filtering.

Flexible Channel Settings and Output

The system offers mono, stereo, and quadraphonic modes for versatile audio routing. The DJI Mimo app allows activation of backup recording at -6 dB to prevent clipping and distortion. The receiver supports four-channel output when connected to Sony cameras via the DJI Mic Series camera adapter, enabling independent output of four audio tracks for precise post-production editing.

32-bit Float Internal Recording and Storage

32-bit float recording captures a wide dynamic range, reducing the need for gain adjustments and allowing recovery of audio tracks without clipping or loss. Users can save internal recordings as original or algorithm-enhanced versions. The transmitter includes approximately 14.5 GB of storage, supporting up to 28 hours of loop internal recording that continues even during wireless signal drops. Internal recording can auto-start on transmitter power-on, sync with the receiver connection, or trigger automatically if the receiver battery is low.

Standalone Voice Recorder and High-Speed File Transfer

The transmitter doubles as a standalone voice recorder for interviews or notes. The redesigned charging case enables high-speed file transfer at up to 34 MB/s when connected to a computer or smartphone, allowing 30 minutes of 24-bit audio to transfer in about eight seconds.

Adaptive Gain Control and Voice Tone Presets

The system offers two gain control modes: Clipping Control to attenuate sudden audio spikes in volatile environments, and Loudness Balance to stabilize volume for interviews and live streams. Three voice tone presets are available:

• Regular: Clean, natural, balanced audio.
• Rich: Emphasizes low frequencies for a fuller sound.
• Bright: Highlights high frequencies for clarity and sparkle.

Compact and Versatile Design

Weighing approximately 12 grams, the transmitter mounts via magnet or clip, functioning as a discreet lavalier microphone. The detachable clip rotates fully, allowing mounting sideways or upside down to maintain optimal audio alignment.

DJI collaborated with illustrator Victo Ngai to create the DJI Mic Mini 2S Time Series Magnetic Front Covers, featuring four designs that capture life's stages and enhance on-camera presence for creators.
