Foma Retro Special Film Developer
Foma Retro Special is a two-component (not two-bath) powder film developer formulated for manual processing of black and white negative films, with a particular emphasis on the Foma Retropan 320 Soft film. It is also compatible with other types of black and white roll or sheet films.
Preparation Instructions
- Dissolve the powder in 700 ml of warm water at 40°C.
- After complete dissolution, add water to reach a final volume of 1 liter.
Usage Capacity
One package of the powder developer is sufficient to process approximately 1.3 square meters of film material. This corresponds to the following sheet film quantities:
- 25 sheets of 20.3 × 25.4 cm (8 × 10 inches)
- 50 sheets of 12.7 × 17.8 cm (5 × 7 inches)
- 100 sheets of 10.2 × 12.7 cm (4 × 5 inches)
- Approximately 36 meters of 35 mm perforated film, equivalent to 25 rolls of 135-36 format film
