Design and Features
The VZSNAPCRANE16 represents the pinnacle of VariZoom's professional camera crane line, designed for filmmakers who demand long reach, uncompromising stability, and modular flexibility. The SnapCrane's lightweight, truss-reinforced jib arm, dovetail joints, and cable-tensioned design ensure smooth, secure operation while minimizing air resistance. Every crane is assembled, tested, and shipped with the tripod, dolly, and carrying case, providing a turnkey solution for both studio and location shoots.
The crane arm features precision-machined sections with a truss pattern for weight reduction without sacrificing strength. The ultra-smooth, high-capacity pan/tilt base incorporates sealed bearings and oversized fasteners for a stable fulcrum, while the variable drag brake system allows fine control over camera motion.
