It supports cameras up to 13.6 kg (30 lbs) and offers a maximum camera height of 5.56 meters (18 feet 3 inches) with vertical movement up to 5.03 meters (16 feet 6 inches).
Design and Construction
This crane features a lightweight, truss-reinforced jib arm constructed from precision-machined sections with a truss pattern to reduce weight without compromising strength. The dovetail joints and cable-tensioned design ensure smooth, secure operation while minimizing air resistance. The pan/tilt base includes sealed bearings and oversized fasteners for a stable fulcrum, complemented by a variable drag brake system for fine control over camera motion.
Tripod and Dolly
- TCR100 Tripod: Custom-built for maximum stability with a machined baseplate, heavy-gauge tubing, and oversized leveling feet.
- DCR200 Dolly: Equipped with solid-rubber wheels, foot brakes, outriggers, and a positive leg-lock system for secure tripod capture and smooth mobility.
Assembly and Durability
The crane uses stainless steel quick-release pins with lanyards and locking dovetail joints for fast, tool-free assembly and safe operation. Marine-grade hardware and corrosion-resistant cables ensure long-term durability. The system is shipped fully assembled and tested, including the tripod, dolly, and a padded soft case for transport. An optional rolling hard case is also available.
