Full Camera Cage for Sony a7 IV, a7S III, and a1

The SmallRig 3668 Basic Kit provides a lightweight, formfitting aluminum cage designed to protect and add accessory mounting options for Sony a7 IV, a7S III, and a1 mirrorless cameras. The cage mounts securely to the camera using an integrated 1/4"-20 screw and features two locking side plates to prevent twisting. Padding on the base protects the camera from scratches while maintaining full access to camera controls and the hot shoe.

Mounting Features

• Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist accessory threads
• Integrated NATO rail on the side for NATO-compatible accessories
• One integrated cold shoe mount
• Strap slots on both sides for attaching hand or neck straps
• Built-in magnetic flat-head screwdriver and hex spanner for easy assembly and disassembly

HDMI Cable Clamp

The included HDMI cable clamp mounts on the left side of the cage using one 1/4"-20 screw and two locating pins to prevent twisting. It secures the HDMI cable with a knurled thumbscrew that adjusts a sliding block to accommodate different cable diameters. This clamp protects the HDMI interface from pulling or accidental disconnection, ensuring stable signal transmission.

Top Handle with ARRI-Style Anti-Twist Mount

The top handle attaches securely to the cage via a locking 3/8"-16 thumbscrew with locating pins. It provides a comfortable grip for easy carrying and facilitates low-angle shooting. The handle includes:

• One 15mm rod bracket
• One locking and two standard cold shoe mounts
• Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI-style anti-twist threads
• Durable aluminum and stainless steel construction
