- Transforms professional-grade f/2.8 zoom lenses (e.g., 24-70mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8) into high-speed zooms with apertures around f/2.0 and focal lengths of 17-50mm and 50-142mm respectively.
- High-speed prime lenses such as 50mm f/1.2 become approximately 35.5mm f/0.9 with excellent contrast and resolution across the frame.
- Increases maximum aperture by 1 stop, achieving a maximum output aperture of f/0.9.
- Enhances modulation transfer function (MTF) for improved detail resolution.
- Makes lenses 0.71x wider.
Electronic Features
- Compatible with Canon EF mount lenses adapted to Fujifilm X-mount cameras.
- Supports phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) with all autofocus lenses by translating optical metadata between lens and camera.
