Precise Light Control

Four independently operating wings allow you to precisely shape the light beam, and thus better control the nature of the filmed or photographed scenes. Importantly, the gate wings operate on flexible and very quiet hinges. If you want to change the light setting while recording a shot, you are assured that an unexpected creak will not disturb your work on set.

Zero Clearances

Included with the Aputure Nova Barn Doors, you will find a special fabric Light Leak Covers mounted with Velcro. This is the answer to a common problem faced by filmmakers and photographers using lamp-mounted gates: light leaks. The cover has been perfectly matched to the shape of the lamp. You install it in a few seconds by sealing each of the wings near the hinges. Thanks to this, no clearance will interfere with your artistic vision; the light will not escape anywhere, and its beam will go exactly where it should!

Easy Installation

It only takes a few moments to quickly and easily prepare the Aputure Nova Barn Doors for action on set or in the photo studio. Simply slide the accessory into the special mounting rails that are an integral part of the Aputure Nova P300c. The gates will lock into position by themselves, and all you have to do is set up the 4 independent wings and focus on perfectly adjusting the light to your frames.
