MagicSoft Streamer is designed for live IP streaming, supporting distribution and contribution to meet the demands of IP broadcasting.
Supported Compression and Output Protocols
- Compression formats: MPEG2 and H264
- IP output protocols: UDP, RTP, RTMP (for web distribution via Wowza, YouTube, Twitch, etc.)
Receiver Software
A receiver software is provided that can decode and output UDP/RTP streams to Decklink or Intensity cards.
Compatibility and Testing
H264 UDP/RTP streams are compatible with DVB IP infrastructure of multiplexers and decoders.
Conformance of H264 UDP streams has been tested with hardware measurement equipment such as Tektronix MTM 400 and Tandberg 7010, and software tools including Manzanita TSA, Elecard StreamEye, and ProMax TS Analyzer.
H264 UDP/RTP streams have been tested for continuous 24/7/365 operation on devices like:
- Tandberg TT1260
- Tandberg RX1290
- Ericsson RX8200
- Amino A140
Input Support
Supports up to 4 video inputs using Decklink, Intensity, AJA, or Corvid cards and devices. Inputs can be configured as analog or digital depending on card capabilities, supporting SDI, HDMI, YUV, or composite signals.
