SmallRig 4422 Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7C II / Alpha 7CR

The SmallRig 4422 Cage Kit is designed to securely protect the Sony Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR cameras while providing multiple mounting options for accessories. The cage firmly secures the camera using one 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom and one M2.5 screw on the right side, featuring built-in cushions to prevent scratches.

Design and Comfort

The cage includes a hinge arm at the battery door that conforms to the camera's curve, improving grip comfort and leaving space for the pinkie finger. A magnetic Allen wrench is included for easy assembly and disassembly.

HDMI Cable Clamp

An HDMI cable clamp attaches quickly to the left side of the cage via a thumb screw, protecting the HDMI port and ensuring stable signal transmission. Note that to use the camera's headphone jack, the HDMI cable clamp must be removed.

Mounting Points and Compatibility

• Multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes for attaching SmallRig Top Handle 3765 and Side Handle 2913.
• One top ARRI 3/8"-16 locating hole for SmallRig Monitor Mount 2903B.
• Cold shoes for mounting microphones and LED video lights.
• A NATO rail on the left side for SmallRig Rotating NATO Handle 3260.
• Built-in M4 threaded holes on the bottom front compatible with SmallRig Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate 4424, enabling quick switching between vertical and horizontal shooting modes.
• A bottom quick-detach (QD) socket for mounting shoulder straps.
• Arca Swiss quick-release plate on the bottom supports DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro gimbals, DJI quick-release plates, and SmallRig Arca-Type Quick Release Plate 3154.
• Additional holes on both sides and the bottom for accessories like SmallRig Hand Strap 3848 and Shoulder Strap PSC2428.

Installation Notes

• Remove the strap ring on the right side of the camera before installing the cage.
