Compatibility and Design

The FeiyuTech Scorp mini P is a handheld gimbal designed specifically for smartphones weighing up to 520 grams and with widths between 55 and 88 mm. It supports devices with a diagonal up to 7 inches, including popular models such as iPhones, Android smartphones, and other brands like HUAWEI, Xiaomi, OPPO, VIVO, OnePlus, Realme, and Samsung Galaxy series. The gimbal features a unique scorpion-inspired design with two ergonomic grips, allowing for traditional vertical holding or dynamic dolly-style shots by holding it from above.

Stabilization and Modes

Equipped with precise motors and a robust aircraft aluminum construction, the Scorp mini P provides excellent stabilization to eliminate unwanted shake. It offers five multi-axis stabilization modes:

• Panning mode (PF): Smooth rotation following the handle while maintaining horizon alignment.
• Tracking mode (PTF): Smooth rotation with up-down movement following the mount.
• Multi-axis tracking (FPV): Lens follows gimbal movement on all three axes.
• Lock mode (Lock): Lens fixed in a predefined direction with all axes locked.
• Fast response mode (FFW): Quick dynamic rotation following the handle with horizon lock.

Control Features

The gimbal includes a multifunctional Magic Wheel dial for precise control of gimbal movements, focus, or zoom. A trigger button under the index finger enables instant activation of face tracking, centering, switching to Lock mode, or flipping the smartphone 180° for selfies. Additional function buttons (F1 and F2) allow customizable controls. Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity enables wireless control of the smartphone via the free Feiyu ON app, available for Android and iOS.

Creative Shooting Modes

The Feiyu ON app expands creative possibilities with modes such as:

• Panorama: 180°, 360°, free, and quick panorama shots with ultra-precise stabilization.
• Auto rotation: 360° camera rotation around the lens axis while moving closer or farther from the subject.
• Timelapse: Capture time passage with programmable gimbal movement (Track timelapse).
• Dolly Zoom: Perspective-changing zoom effect without foreground distortion.
• Light Rail Mode: Create unique light trail photos and videos.
• Overlapping Image: Save overlapping images for creative photography.

Battery and Build

The built-in 2200 mAh battery provides up to 11 hours of continuous use on a single charge, with a USB-C charging port allowing full recharge in approximately 1.5 hours. The gimbal can also be powered via an external power bank for extended shooting sessions. Each axis features physical locks for safe transport and easy setup. The device includes 1/4" threads for mounting on tripods, monopods, or sliders.
