The Samyang 24mm T1.5 ED AS UMC VDSLR lens is designed primarily for professional cine and movie making, offering a high-quality fast prime lens optimized for video DSLR use. It features follow focus gearing and a decoupled aperture mechanism, allowing smooth and quiet adjustments of focus and aperture during filming, compatible with professional follow focus camera systems.
The aperture and focus scales are relocated to the side of the lens for improved visibility. This 24mm VDSLR lens is compatible with full-frame and APS-C sized sensors, initially available in Canon and Nikon mounts, and also offered for Sony FE mount. It is ideal for full-frame cameras, providing a high-quality wide-angle perspective suitable for street, landscape, and architectural photography, even in low light conditions. On APS-C sensors, it offers an approximate 38mm equivalent field of view, suitable for journalism and general photography.
