Performance and Compatibility
The converter automatically switches between standards to maintain compatibility with legacy SD and HD equipment. It supports automatic up and down conversion of video signals, ensuring that input signals are recalculated for display on devices that do not support Ultra HD. The Teranex circuitry provides 12-bit video processing accuracy for minimal noise and low jitter, allowing longer cable runs and high-quality analog conversion.
Remote Control and Monitoring
All Teranex Mini models include an integrated Ethernet interface for remote control via the Converter Utility application on Windows and Mac OS X. The optional Smart Panel enhances user experience by providing instant feedback on conversion parameters, video and audio monitoring, timecode display, and video signal standards.
Audio and Connectivity
Equipped with professional XLR connectors, the converter supports balanced audio lines, digital AES/EBU interfaces, and timecode sources. The audio circuitry is redesigned for extremely low noise levels (over -115 dBFS) to ensure maximum audio quality.
