The Mount Converter MC-11 enables the use of SIGMA SA mount and SIGMA EOS mount interchangeable lenses with Sony E-mount camera bodies. This converter addresses the complexity of modern digital camera systems by aligning both mechanical and software functions between lenses and bodies, especially bridging DSLR lenses to mirrorless camera systems while retaining full functionality.

- Fast and Smooth Autofocus: Incorporates digital data to provide fast and smooth AF for compatible lenses, including OS features and camera functions that control peripheral brightness and correct transverse chromatic aberration, distortion, and more.
- Full Compatibility with Sony E-mount Aperture Control: Since Sony E-mount bodies do not require mechanical aperture control, the MC-11 allows SIGMA SA and Canon-mount SIGMA lenses to be fully compatible with automatic exposure control on Sony E-mount cameras.
- Expanded Lens Compatibility: Provides Sony E-mount users access to 35 SIGMA interchangeable lenses, including SIGMA DC lenses for APS-C sensors, which can be used on full-frame bodies with automatic image area setting.
- Optimized Lens Control: Uses dedicated control programs and lens-specific data to optimize AF drive, aperture control, and other functions. Firmware updates are available via personal computer as new lenses are released.
- Optical Stabilization Support: Compatible with OS features of both lens and camera body, enabling superior correction of camera shake, including angle shake correction when used with OS-enabled camera bodies.
- Internal Flocking: The interior of the MC-11 barrel is flocked to prevent internal reflections and maintain lens performance.
- Exif Data Compatibility: Embeds lens type, focal length, F number, and other tags into image files for accurate metadata.
