It incorporates glass-mold aspheric lenses at the 5th and 7th elements, which effectively increase the maximum aperture and reduce the overall lens thickness. The final element is positioned very close to the sensor, minimizing the incidence angle of light, which reduces vignetting and color shading while maintaining a small lens size.
Optical Construction and Coating
The lens features an all-glass aspherical lens element and other high-quality optical components. Each element is polished to perfection and treated with Fujifilm's Super EBC (Electron Beam Coating) to reduce flare and ghosting, ensuring high image quality.
