Product Description
The Manfrotto XPRO 4-section Aluminium Video Monopod with Fluid Video Head is a professional-grade monopod designed for videographers who require elevated shooting positions to capture above crowds and achieve diverse shooting angles. It combines the rigidity and locking safety features from Manfrotto's professional tripod ranges such as the 190 and 055 collections.
This monopod features Manfrotto's full fluid base (MVMXPROBASE) equipped with the innovative FLUIDTECH system, making it the first monopod on the market to offer 3D fluidity. The FLUIDTECH base provides ultra-smooth pan, tilt, and swivel movements, expanding the range of shooting perspectives. Three retractable feet enhance portability when folded, allowing easy transport.
The monopod's new D-shaped aluminium tubes significantly improve anti-rotation resistance during rapid rotation movements. The Quick Power Lock (QPL) securely locks the lever onto the monopod tube's flat side, eliminating unwanted jerky motions. The newly designed rubber leg warmer offers exceptional grip and full control over footage.
The included MVMXPRO500 video head is a specialized version of the successful Manfrotto 500 video head, utilizing the MVH500AH's powerful counterbalance system to support heavier equipment such as interchangeable lens cameras and HDSLR bodies. Despite its strength, the head is extra-lightweight and compact, capable of supporting payloads up to 5 kg, blending strength with portability.
The combination of fluidity from both the 500 head and the FLUIDTECH base makes this monopod ideal for demanding videographers seeking fast setup and easy-to-use support for professional video footage. The camera mounts quickly from above via an accessible side lock system, eliminating the need for a secondary lock. The MVMXPRO500 also includes one Easy Link 3/8" connector for attaching external monitors or accessories and comes with the Manfrotto 500PLONG video camera plate.
