Product Details

ILFORD MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE offers a full tonal range and outstanding image quality across a wide contrast range of grades 00 to 5. This variable contrast paper was first introduced by ILFORD in 1940 and has since evolved to become a preferred choice for discerning darkroom printers worldwide.

The current emulsion design maintains the long-standing tradition of MULTIGRADE quality, providing enhanced response where needed to reveal subtle highlight details while rendering shadows in deep, rich blacks. The bright white resin coated base further accentuates image contrast and clarity.

This paper is ideal for printing directly from negatives and supports creative control for advanced users. It is also available in Cooltone and Warmtone variants to suit different aesthetic preferences.

As part of the ILFORD MULTIGRADE system, seven full grades of contrast can be achieved using ILFORD MULTIGRADE filters. The paper is compatible with most common safelights for black and white darkroom paper, including the ILFORD 902 safelight filter.
