Multiple Finishes
The DS820 uniquely offers four different photo finishes: fine matte, matte, luster, and glossy. This versatility ensures a suitable finish for various applications without the need to change the paper roll, as the coating is applied directly by the printer during printing.
Hot Folder Print Software
DNP provides free 'Hot Folder Print' software that enables automatic photo printing. Users can define a folder where photos are placed, select the desired printer and layout, and the photos will print automatically. This software allows configuration of print properties such as format, finish, and optional 2-inch cutting, streamlining batch printing workflows.
Versatile Print Sizes
The DS820 supports multiple print sizes beyond A4, including 10x20 cm, 13x20 cm, 15x20 cm, 20x25 cm, 20x30 cm, and panoramic prints up to 20x80 cm. Panoramic printing requires the latest firmware and use of the Hot Folder Print software.
Rewind Function for Paper Efficiency
To minimize paper waste, the DS820 includes a rewind function that optimizes paper usage, benefiting both the user and the environment.
