Hoya Protector Filters

Hoya Protector filters are colorless filters designed for use with color and black and white films, as well as digital camera lenses. They serve as permanent lens protectors without affecting color balance or lens performance. These clear filters protect valuable lenses from damage caused by dirt, knocks, or scratches during constant use.

Antistatic Coating

The newly developed Hoya Antistatic coating acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust, making it ideal for dusty environments. This reduces the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance compared to traditional filters. The hardened antistatic top layer is water repellent, stain resistant, scratch resistant, and easy to clean from smudges or fingerprints.

Optical Quality

Hoya Fusion Antistatic professional filters are manufactured in Japan using hand-selected silicates that are carefully smelted and blended to produce high-performance optical glass. An improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula is precisely applied to greatly reduce or eliminate reflections on the glass surface, resulting in ultra-clear, high transmission. This ensures the filter has virtually no effect on color balance, contrast, or image clarity.

Filter Frame

The filter features a lightweight, one-piece, low-profile aluminum frame that houses the glass. This design maintains perfect parallel alignment to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness and eliminates vignetting on ultra-wide-angle lenses.
