The integrated lens offers a 35 mm equivalent focal range of approximately 25600 mm with i.Zoom up to 28x in UHD and 36x in FHD. The camera outputs UHD up to 2160/29.97p or 25p via HDMI and supports HD formats up to 1080/59.94p or 50p. A USB-C port provides UVC/UAC support for plug-and-play use as a USB video/audio device, with audio from the 3.5 mm mic/line input embedded in the video outputs.
Network, Control, and PTZ Performance
The AW-UE40WEJ streams over IP using H.264 or H.265, supporting protocols like RTSP/RTP, RTMP/RTMPS, and SRT for unmanaged networks. NDI HX2 is available as an optional activation for NDI workflows. Control options include IP (RJ-45), RS-422, or USB, with PoE+ support for power and data over a single cable. The direct-drive pan/tilt mechanism provides smooth movement with a pan range of 175 and a tilt range of 30 to +90, suitable for desktop or ceiling installation.
