AG-CX18 Camcorder Overview
The AG-CX18 features advanced optical technology in a lightweight, compact design, ideal for high-quality video production. It will be available from February 2025.
Optical Performance
The integrated lens provides a 24x optical zoom (25mm wide-angle to 600mm telephoto), achieving 32x zoom in 4K and 48x in FHD. The 4-Drive Lens System allows independent movement of four lens groups, maintaining a compact body.
Manual Control
Two Manual Rings enable precise adjustments for focus and zoom/aperture control, with varying sizes for easy identification. ND filters (1/4, 1/16, 1/64, and clear) protect against solar condensation damage.
IP Video Streaming
The AG-CX18 supports live FHD streaming via Wi-Fi and Ethernet, featuring 3G-SDI output and simultaneous HDMI output.
Autofocus and Tracking
With face detection AF/AE, the camcorder ensures fast, stable focus tracking in both 4K and Full HD. Touching the LCD panel activates subject tracking for precise motion capture.
Image Stabilization
5-axis HYBRID O.I.S. combines optical and electronic stabilization to correct camera shake, providing sharp images even at 24x zoom.
Recording Capabilities
The camcorder supports various data streams and formats, including internal recording in 422 10bit at 29.97 fps in UHD and 59.94 fps in FHD. It also offers 4K 60p 422 10bit output via HDMI and HEVC recording for UHD 59.94p at 200 Mbps.
