Designed for professional-quality filmmaking, the Canon LEGRIA HF G70 features a 1/2.3-type CMOS 4K sensor paired with the DIGIC DV6 image processor to deliver crisp, sharp UHD images suitable for 4K displays. The camcorder includes an 8-blade aperture for cinema-style out-of-focus highlights. Users can compose shots using the 3.5-inch LCD or the built-in electronic viewfinder (EVF).
Creative Control and Versatility
Capture dynamic wide-angle and close-up shots with the powerful 20x optical zoom lens and advanced 5-axis image stabilization. The camera offers five customizable buttons and built-in neutral density (ND) filters to control exposure, enabling wider apertures or slower shutter speeds for creative effects.
Advanced Autofocus System
The Hybrid AF system provides fast and smooth autofocus with adjustable speed settings. Focus can be set precisely by touching the desired AF point on the 3.5-inch LCD. Face Detection AF and Face Tracking enhance accuracy in busy scenes, while manual focus is available via the lens control ring.
Recording Capabilities
The camcorder records in MP4 format compatible with most TVs and devices. It supports 4K UHD recording at 150 Mbps and 25 frames per second, as well as Full HD recording at 35 Mbps or 17 Mbps at 50P/25P. Slow Motion recording in Full HD at 0.5x speed and Fast Motion recording up to 1200x in 4K/Full HD are also available.

The LEGRIA HF G70 includes various scene modes and a custom picture menu for color matching with other Canon cameras. Audio scene modes optimize sound recording for different environments.
