AG-CX20 Camcorder Overview
The AG-CX20 features advanced optical technology in a lightweight, compact design, ideal for high-quality video production. It will be available from February 2025.
Optical Performance
The integrated lens provides a 24x optical zoom (25mm wide-angle to 600mm telephoto), achieving 32x zoom in 4K and 48x in FHD. The 4-Drive Lens System allows independent movement of four lens groups, maintaining a compact body.
Manual Control and ND Filters
Two Manual Rings enable precise adjustments for focus and zoom/aperture control. ND filters are selectable (1/4, 1/16, 1/64, and clear glass) for protection against solar condensation.
IP Video Streaming
The AG-CX20 supports live FHD streaming via Wi-Fi and Ethernet, with 3G-SDI and simultaneous HDMI output. It also supports the SRT protocol and NDI HX2 for seamless live streaming.
Autofocus and Stabilization
With AF/AE face detection, the camcorder ensures fast, stable focus tracking in both 4K and Full HD. The 5-axis HYBRID O.I.S. combines optical and electronic stabilization for sharp images, even at 24x zoom.
Recording Capabilities
It supports various data streams and formats, including internal recording in 422 10-bit at up to 29.97 fps in UHD and 59.94 fps in FHD. Future firmware updates will add low-bitrate recording formats for FHD MP4.
