The 3 Legged Thing Ellie with PEAK DESIGN CAPTURE Base is the world's first truly universal L-bracket, designed to offer unmatched functionality, modularity, and configurability. Unlike ordinary universal L-brackets that are limited in both compatibility and features, Ellie provides a revolutionary approach to camera mounting solutions.
Key Features
- Detachable Release Plate: Can be used independently or combined with the vertical aspect for versatile mounting options.
- Dual Arca-Swiss Profile Sides: The vertical aspect features dual Arca-Swiss profiled edges and symmetrical 1/4"-20 threaded ends, allowing 8 different side configurations for enhanced cable access and compatibility.
- Two-Axis Adjustments: Enables fitting a wider range of cameras than any other universal L-bracket.
- Peak Design & Arca-Swiss Compatibility: The only L-bracket system compatible with both Peak Design V3 Capture and Arca-Swiss standards.
Modular Base Options
Ellie offers four base options to maximize compatibility with various camera models and mounting preferences. These include two shoe types and two base lengths:
- ELLIE: Original model with an 85mm Arca-Swiss compatible base featuring screen slope and strap connectors. Suitable for almost all DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
- ELLIE SHORT: Features a 70mm base designed specifically for Fujifilm and Olympus cameras or any camera with a tripod mount close to the battery door. Includes screen slope and strap connectors.
- ELLIE PD: Similar to the original Ellie but equipped with a shoe compatible with the Peak Design V3 Capture system. Also Arca-Swiss compatible and includes screen slope and strap connectors.
- ELLIE PD SHORT: Combines the features of Ellie Short and Ellie PD with a 70mm base compatible with both Peak Design V3 Capture and Arca-Swiss. Designed for cameras with tripod mounts near the battery door.
