System Integration and Expandability
The Universal Videohub 288 is designed as a modular 3G/HD/SD SDI and deck control routing switcher. It supports hot-swappable BNC SDI or optical fiber interface modules, each including full deck control. The frame can be configured with either a single 72 x 72 or dual 288 x 288 crosspoint cards, allowing for scalable system sizes. For enhanced reliability, a second crosspoint card can be added to provide full redundancy for 24/7 operation.
All inputs feature automatic standards detection, and all outputs are re-clocked to maintain signal integrity. The 18 rack unit frame is compact, measuring less than 15 cm in depth, and includes redundant power supplies and serial/ethernet connectivity for third-party control.
