The Caruba Hot Shoe Hood Canon Type-3 is a specially designed hot shoe to protect the Canon camera against water, dust and oxidation. The hood doesn't block the function of the built-in pop up flash. It is used for Canon cameras with a flash shoe such as DSLR's, system cameras and point and shoot cameras (except for the Canon EOS M3, M6 and PowerShot G3X).
