The Speed Booster XL 0.64x variant is based on the existing Micro Four Thirds models but is optimized for the BMPCC4K's thinner sensor filter stack. This optimization ensures maximum image quality, especially at wide apertures. The adapter features a redesigned optical system that improves image sharpness and contrast across the frame, including the periphery.
It uses advanced optics with high refractive index glass elements to reduce focal length and increase lens luminosity and sensor coverage. This results in improved modulation transfer function (MTF), delivering sharper and higher contrast images even at maximum apertures.
Design and Build
The adapter includes a longer tripod foot for perfect alignment and a secure connection with the BMPCC4K camera body, featuring a quick release plate for convenience.
