Its positive-lock mount and weather-resistant design ensure secure, reliable use, while advanced optics deliver improved sharpness and a wider field of view.
Performance Enhancement
Boost the performance of your Canon EF-mount full-frame or APS-C lenses when using a Micro Four Thirds camera with the Metabones T CINE Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x (Fifth Generation). This cinema-style electronic adapter features a positive-lock Canon EF lens mount that securely holds your lenses while optics reduce the crop factor from 2x to approximately 1.4x by making the lens 0.71x wider and increasing the maximum aperture by about 1 stop for better low-light performance and depth of field control.
Optical Design
Built with a sophisticated 5-element, 4-group optical design, the Speed Booster ULTRA enhances sharpness and optical performance of your adapted lenses. Its electronic communication enables autofocus, image stabilization, and aperture control directly from the camera body. Smooth iris control is supported on select Canon, Tamron, and Sigma lenses, and electronic manual focus with focus-by-wire lenses like the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II is also possible.
Additional Features
Additional features include a weather-resistant rubber gasket on the mount to protect against dust and moisture, internal black felt flocking to prevent reflections, and distance and zoom data transmission for compatible cameras. Cinema EOS lenses are fully supported when powering the adapter through an external 5 VDC micro-USB supply, enabling autofocus, servo zoom, and auto iris functions.
