The new super motors of CRANE 3S allow a payload up to 6.5 kg. This opens a new world to filmmakers and content creators, enabling shooting with DSLR cameras one day and professional video cameras like Sony FX9, Red Dragon, or Arri Alexa the next, all with the same gimbal.
Modular Design for Versatility
For larger cinema cameras, an extension module can be easily attached onto the roll axis to provide more space. For smaller DSLR cameras, the extension module can be detached for greater portability. Crane 3S facilitates handling your video gear with ease, speed, and flexibility.
Detachable Handles with Advanced Controls
The gimbal features detachable handles allowing choice between TransMount SmartSling or EasySling handles. The TransMount SmartSling handle integrates a control panel with an OLED screen for intuitive control over the gimbal and camera settings such as focus and zoom. The EasySling handle offers versatile holding options, with the ability to angle the handle for switching between normal height and low-angle shots. Dedicated buttons enable quick switching between different tracking modes.
Accessory Compatibility
Multiple thread holes on both stabilizer and handle provide cross-compatibility with a wide range of accessories including EasyRig, motorized dollies, jib, and cable cams. This flexibility allows finding the optimal working position for all types of productions without compromise.
Included Table Tripod
A table tripod is included to hold the gimbal steady and allow quick system placement when not shooting, reducing fatigue and maintaining operator freshness throughout the day.
Advanced Locking and Stability
The new gap-free three-axis locking solution balances and stores with close to zero shake. Multiple interfaces on the gimbal feature safety locks to ensure high-intensity shooting in all directions.

CRANE 3S includes a DC-IN port supporting up to 25.2V input for direct charging. Built-in batteries provide up to 12 hours of runtime with only 4 hours of charging, a 35% increase over the previous model.
An optional TransMount PowerPlus battery pack can house six 18650 batteries, delivering enhanced power for intense motion and serving as a compact, fast-charging power bank for devices. With this battery pack, runtime extends to 21 hours.
Remote Control and Monitoring
Similar to previous LAB and Weebill models, Crane 3S can wirelessly connect to a smartphone via the transmission module, enabling advanced remote control. Full HD (1080p) wireless video support allows the smartphone to act as a monitor for composing shots and reviewing settings.
ViaTouch 2.0 technology seamlessly connects the smartphone or camera with the gimbal, allowing real-time adjustment of gimbal and camera settings such as follow speed, aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. This provides intuitive control and real-time monitoring at your fingertips.
