The Teranex Mini HDMI to Optical 12G Converter converts HDMI signals to 12G optical fiber and 12G-SDI. It supports all video formats including SD, HD, 6G, and 12G-SDI rates and includes an up converter for converting HD to Ultra HD. It can embed audio from balanced analog or AES/EBU inputs and supports timecode input. This converter is ideal for converting HDMI consumer cameras to SDI or adding SDI outputs to computers with HDMI connections.
Optical Fiber Integration
Designed for broadcast facilities, this converter uses optical fiber technology to handle extremely long distances at high speeds of 12G-SDI. Optical fiber cables are easy to install by electricians or networking professionals. The device includes both an optical fiber LC connector and a 12G-SDI BNC connector, allowing use in both optical fiber and traditional SDI systems.
