The Teranex Mini Optical to HDMI 12G converter enables conversion from 12G optical fiber and 12G-SDI signals to HDMI output. It supports all video formats including SD, HD, 6G, and 12G-SDI rates, with an integrated down converter for Ultra HD signals to match the HDMI monitor's supported format. The device also features audio de-embedding to balanced analog or AES/EBU digital audio formats and provides timecode output. It is ideal for using HDMI televisions as SDI broadcast monitors and connecting to video projectors.
Optical Fiber Integration
Designed for broadcast facilities, this converter supports optical fiber SDI, which allows extremely long cable runs at high 12G-SDI speeds. Optical fiber cables are easy to install by electricians or networking professionals. The Teranex Mini Optical models include both optical fiber and 12G-SDI connectors, enabling flexible use in native optical fiber or traditional BNC SDI systems.
