Polarizing Filter Functionality

Light rays reflected from surfaces become polarized. Manufactured in Japan, the Fusion Antistatic professional filters use hand-selected silicates carefully smelted and blended to produce high-performance optical glass. Hoya applies an improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula that significantly reduces or eliminates surface reflections, resulting in ultra-clear glass with a high transmission rate. This ensures minimal impact on color balance, contrast, or image clarity.

The filter is housed in a lightweight, two-piece, very low-profile aluminum frame designed to prevent vignetting on ultra-wide-angle lenses. The frame features front filter threads for easy attachment of additional filters or lens accessories.
